Professional & Educational Background

Mohd Dino Khairri bin Shariffuddin (PhD) is an Associate Professor at the School of International Studies (SoIS), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).   Previously, he was Director of the Student Affairs Department of UUM (2014 to 2018) and Dean of Student Affairs and Alumni College of Government, Law and International Studies (2019). Dr. Dino Khairri has a PhD degree in Political Science (International Relations) from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. He graduated with an MA in International Relational (with Distinction) from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. He obtained his Bachelor of International Affairs from Universiti Utara Malaysia.

Research Interests and Expertise

Dr. Dino Khairri’s main research interests focus on the topic of the student movement, leadership and political parties. Dr. Dino Khairri is currently preparing two book projects: the first involves student leadership, while the second focuses on student employability.
